Only 9 am and ABM is working

It’s only 9 am in the morning as I write this morning’s blog and already the Adnan Business Model would have generated hundreds of dollars for me in one of the many worldwide locations it is working in.

This morning I have had to bring my father into hospital for a pre assessment for a surgical procedure he needs. Nothing too serious but you only get one family in this life and so I like to help them out wherever I can.

Looking around the room on this Monday morning I see a full waiting room with people frantically on their cell phones making calls making excuses why they are going to be late and also already answering emails on blackberry. What a sad start to the week!

I on the other hand awoke and have been to the gym already and also have enjoyed a continental breakfast and checked 2 emails to see what money has come in. Society is geared to follow the masses and therefore it’s an accepted medium to see a whole room of employed workers. However, ever since I was a young lad, I have always learnt to challenge the status quo and not follow the masses. If ever I was told it was impossible to do something, it became a challenge for me to do it. I have always wanted to prove people wrong because when someone tells you that you can’t do something it’s an opinion, more importantly it’s their opinion. Noone should be able to do that to you for your career and more importantly in any walk of your life. You are the master of your own destiny.

Whilst I see patients this morning in hospital waiting to be seen, I see disgruntled patients that have very little tolerance as they need to rush to their jobs. This adds to stress and is not pleasant to watch at all. Remember these are the same people that will be told at the end of the year there is no bonus or payrise for some reason related to a bad underperforming economy. So much for job security hey?

If you wish to get out of this vicious cycle and have more meaning to your life and have a balance between work and leisure please visit www.thrivesuperconference.com or www.thethivebootcamp.com or email Adnan at admin@thrivesuperconference.com

How hard is it to really start Business?

More from Adnan……

One of the most frequent questions I get asked on my travels is how hard is it really to start up a business? I know you have most probably heard the saying a million times before but if I can pinch it and say if I could get a nickel every time somebody asked me that question I could actually retire… such is the frequency of that question.

Well it goes without saying that I can almost immediately tell anyone asking me that question to come to my Thrive Super Conference as one of my slots in that particular conference is all about how you can start a successful business from anywhere in the world and from a spare room within 48 hours of attending the conference.

That said, I wanted to give something to everyone who is daunted on the subject of starting up their own business and also is unsure whether to find another job or to be worried if they are about to lose their job. The first thing I will say is that no company out there started that way and no multinational got that big in nanoseconds… it took a lot of time and effort with a bit of luck I suppose at the end of the day. Let’s minus that luck part and we can still achieve extraordinary results by doing a few things.

Long gone are the days where you need to spend and hoard stock and pile it until you sell, thus removing the worry of obsolescence? Today you can do business from one side of the world to another just by sending a few emails and accounting for time differences. You have suppliers that are willing to drop ship for you and also the enormous costs of couriers have dropped significantly for anyone to be able to trade internationally. Coupled with this basic bookkeeping, taxation and legal service costs have plummeted as there is clearly competition to lowball fees to get more clients. In addition to this, due to many companies going out of business in the recession, many marketing costs have also fallen. You can actually cajole your marketing at next to nothing. So what exactly are you waiting for?

Ok, let’s assume you don’t even have a product to sell. Think about this seriously for a second. Let’s think of something that most of us use on a daily basis.. A hair brush comes to mind. Is there one variety of hairbrush? No way there are thousands and thousands. Even if you did not know about a hairbrush variety, just being able to market that in a unique way would open you to at least income from 1 product. You could hold a portfolio of these products and that would bring you residual income off these various products, if marketed correctly.

But let’s get even more basic and benign that that. What if you could not even source a hairbrush (pretty unbelievable but let’s humour the idea for a second). There is a whole world of Affiliate Marketing, where you can actually find other successful people selling goods and sell these on their behalf and earn a commission. There are several affiliate program websites that you can visit to see what are the most popular products, and then you can try selling these by signing up to the programs. This is one of the easiest ways to make money as in effect the work has been done for you by showing you which products actively sell. Imagine that knowing that a product is already successful before you get to sell it. By building multiple product streams via affiliate programs you can actually make a decent wage – and all from your living room marketing something that may be coming from China, Mexico or Australia! Look out for my future blog which will talk about also then moving forward and setting up your own seller’s affiliate program, when you have a successful product.

Everyone is an expert…. Just attend a Meet Up group right?

A rainy day in England.. nothing out of the norm I hear you say, I am sitting in a doctor friend’s surgery who has asked me to come and look at his website and give him some helpful tips on why his conversion rates are not very high.

Whilst waiting to be ushered into his room, I am sitting amongst other patients waiting to see him and his team of partners. I can’t help overhearing some of the banter between the patients. I think to myself my goodness… with some of the advice being communicated between friends and relatives of the patients visiting, you cannot help feeling a certain worry with what everyone is saying… all of a sudden everyone’s a doctor now!!!

You see, we all consider ourselves a jack of all trades, but most of us are very lucky if we ever get to specialize in one thing in our careers with such hectic lifestyles. We can’t all be Will Smith’s and sing, act, rap, present live shows, model and hang out with cool A-list celebrity friends.

Nowadays, I run into several meet-up groups from various geographical segments throughout the world. What is a meet-up group I hear you ask? Well, in my experience a meet-up group is a collection of like minded business entrepreneurs or individuals that join a like minded geographic centric/business centric group called a meet-up group, with a specific, goal, objective or mission in mind to assist them with either starting up a business activity/venture or enhance their existing business via internet marketing techniques. The objective is to learn the latest techniques of internet and business marketing, but with like minded individuals to share experiences and, to save costs of attending seminars and boot camps.

More often or not I will run into such groups and be told that they are struggling with something or that there is a particular barrier preventing them from getting to the next stage of their business. It is these groups that tend to have the weekly meetings and go through topics but they lack the vital expertise that you would pick up at a seminar or boot camp.

I am a qualified Accountant by trade and have had several years of experience in Law, Finance, Accountancy and Tax, but only as I studied hard for the qualification and backed it up with several years experience. You would never come to me to look at the finances of your company if I did not have these criteria. If you are ill, you go and see a doctor, if you have a tooth pain, you see a dentist, if a dentist cannot help you see a specialist, if you have a car that malfunctions mechanically, you take it back to the showroom or to a qualified mechanic, with an eye to get best value for your needs. We always look for an expert.

Ladies and gentleman, I am the founder of Thrive Super Conference and also The Thrive Boot Camps, and it is my duty to ensure that you get the best possible teachings on internet and business marketing at either event. A lot of these are totally educational and with limited sales pitch at the conferences anyway. If you truly want to see your business thrive this year within an environment of economic gloom please find out more by visiting www.thrivesuperconference.com or www.thethrivebootcamp.com or email me at admin@thrivesuperconference.com We also cater for specific boot camps for specific meet up groups. So go ahead, what are you waiting for contact us!!! Don’t just survive…Thrive!
